Party Week

This week is the week of socials... we had the CS opening social on Wednesday, the Data Mining Lab (where Steve works) social tonight, and tomorrow is our ward social.
So the CS social was at this park in Provo. It was gorgeous weather, and we let Adam crawl on the grass. We were sitting on a hill, so he made it down a lot faster than he expected. He loved sitting in the cool green grass and "talking" to everyone that walked past. He also discovered that it is hard to balance sitting up when you're facing up the hill. :)
The DML social was, as always, fun with fabulous food. Steve's boss has a beautiful house where they invite everyone once a quarter. Adam enjoyed playing with the other babies there-- ages 2, 1, 4 months, and 2 months.
At home, Adam has gained enough confidence to walk holding one of my hands and one of my pant legs. It's really cute.
I also managed to kill off my laptop. I spilled water all over it, and I thought it was okay after I dried it, but apparently the water went in some other keys and even the mouse pad and fried some things in there. So when you click the mouse it types endless x-es and other random symbols. So sad. I'm hoping we can revive it if and when the water finally evaporates. Wish us luck, I really like that laptop!
And Steve has been able to change one of his classes into a 5 credit hour class, which means he can drop his Monday night class! Yea!
And that's about it! I've forgotten my Seattle mode of taking the camera everywhere, which I was really sad about in the park, but I promise to do better! I also have some pics of Adam and Zachary Mason (baby born 1 week after Adam and whose mom is a great friend) having a playdate. Well, I only actually got one picture before Adam was clambering up my leg for the camera. :D
And that's about it-- I'll see you next time!
Oh, and happy 7 months to Adam!
