Today we had Stake Conference. After the first hour, we decided to take Adam to the Primary room for the other half, so he could run around. After all, normally all he does is an hour before nursery, right?
Anyway, there were only a few other children in the room (which was nice), and several of them not happy at all. Adam carefully took one toy at a time and offered it to each sad child. He would hold it out, cautiously walking toward the sad child until they took the toy, then grin and run back to us. It was adorable and heart-melting to watch.
Children are so pure and so perfect in their intentions and thoughts. It is no wonder we are commanded to become like them. I hope that seeing his selfless kindness will inspire me this week to be a little more giving of compassion and care.
