This is Steve's building-- the Pac Med. (The tiny brown, tiered one in the distance.)He calls it the Ghostbuster Building.
I think it should have a fountain pouring down it like the Conference Center.
The short building in the middle, with all the black glass, is the one hiding our building. Our apartment would have a great water view otherwise...
Little-known fact: bald eagles nest and hunt in the Elliott Bay area, and they like to rest on barges.
Our beloved Space Needle, shown here with the Olympic Sculpture Park at the bottom. This is where Adam and I like to hang out on the waterfront. You can also see the white arches of the Science Center in the distance.
One of many piers-o'-sailboats.(Imagine all these and then some out on the water for the fireworks. It was a pretty amazing sight.)
And finally, a complete city view. Notice that the Space Needle is actually pretty far away from downtown. And you can't tell from this angle, but it is also much, much shorter than 90% of the other buildings. The tall black building on the right is the Columbia Center, one of the tallest on this coast, and also next door to the Seattle Central Library. This had to be the best trip so far-- the weather was perfect, the water was smooth, and a great time was had by all. Except Adam couldn't hear over the noise of the engines, so there are no good pictures of him. :)
