fun weekend

Yes, still no movie of her walking-- she is not a "performance baby," shall we say.
But we did have a great weekend! We went to two different Mill Creek parks on Friday, and the kids enjoyed the slides and soft grass, while we enjoyed drooling over the gorgeous houses in the neighborhoods.
Then on Saturday, we went to the Amazon company picnic, and we had a great time! They had all kinds of shows and games and fun things to do, plus yummy food. It was even a nice, overcast day, the perfect temperature, and it was on a farm up near Snoqualmie Falls and the most gorgeous, misty mountain we'd ever seen. It was covered by a solid wall of dark green fir tress, and it was just breathtaking.
Anyways, we could only take pictures on our video camera, so they're not very high-quality. We also got a very short movie of Adam's first pony ride, but I won't be posting that. Here are some pictures:

Us: "You hit the ball into the hole."
(Adam hits the ball, then picks it up and drops it in the hole. "I did it!" Drops Steve's ball in the hole. "Did it!" Moves on to next one.)

"Why do I have to miss out on all the fun?"
"Because you're supposed to be
napping..."

Well, okay. You can do the train ride. But then back in the stroller with you! :)

Adam LOVES inflatables.

It helps that he's a really good jumper.

Lunchtime! Let's do a sibling shot. Go stand by Nicole, please.

Good. Now, look at Mommy...

No, LOOK at Mommy... go stand by Nicole!

And try not to have a weird expression...

Apparently Adam wants a "casual shot..."

Oh, you'll both do it. Works for me!

We actually did take her out of the stroller for the second part of the day. (Adam got tired, and if you had to carry a kid around, who would you choose?!) So we let her play in the toddler area with Adam and danced her around. She had fun, too. Just wanted to clarify since all the pictures happen to be when she's in the stroller.
When everyone was worn out, we left. Adam slept all the way home, and Nicole sang to us all the way home. It was a good day.

You guys have such cute kids! I LOVE the "casual shot" with them both with an arm up. =)
