Nicole was blessed on January 4, 2009. Her name is now (officially) Nicole Isabella Ivie. She looked gorgeous in her little dress, and was in the best mood- all smiley and cooing. There happened to be another blessing on that Sunday, so they did that baby first. Then they forgot about Nicole. Several people in the ward tried to catch the guy's attention, but no one could. Finally, after the sacrament, he announced that we could bless her. Of course by this time, she's tired and hungry and so she screamed the entire time. It was a really neat blessing, though-- the part I most remember is that she'll choose good friends who will be good influences.
Yea for babies! We're so happy to have our little girl!

Oh my gosh. I have been so behind on blogs. Nicole is BEAUTIFUL! I am in awe. You and Steve make gorgeous kids. Can't wait for Lauren to meet ya'll.
