Bitten

Yes, I was finally bitten by the best series ever. You guessed it. Michael and Brittany offered me Twilight to read during our overnight trip to Snowbird (thanks Bri and Debs!). I finished that night. When we got home the next day, I bought all three books and devoured the remaining two. It is agonizing to wait until August 2nd for my pre-ordered book to arrive, so I did some internet snooping... tons out there, the best stuff being on the official Stephenie Meyer website -- there's a fifth book (Midnight Sun), and on the Twilight Lexicon site, which is in correspondence with her and has lots of cool extra info.
Anyway. Thought you'd all like to know that I'm finally in on the hype. I wish I'd waited to read these three until after the fourth came out... oh, well! A truly mesmerizing series, and thankfully shorter than the Uglies series, so my cute son only had to amuse himself for one day.
Speaking of cute sons, he's very close to talking. And still oh so mischievous.
We find out Monday if we're having a girl for him to pounce on or a boy for him to partner-in-crime with. My vote's on the latter. :)
Anyway, we've got one week left before moving. One week! To quote a show that was a guilty pleasure of mine:

"You're panicking!"
"Yes. Join me, won't you?!!"

That's how I feel.
