Lots of Things

This is Adam with the quilt my mom made for him. He looks like a different baby every day! (At least, a taller one!)

Adam loves music. He loves it so much, in fact, that we listen to his limited number of kids' music CDs several times each per day. How do I know he wants to listen? He stares pointedly at the CD player, swings his arms, and then looks longingly at me. He also started a new, heart-melting style of dancing... he clasps his hands, and swings them from side to side in an almost "aw, shucks" manner. It's really cute. I love sharing music with him!
We've also been able to play outside some with the warmer weather this week, which has been good: Adam and I both are almost crazy with cabin fever! (I think someone ought to start a chain of indoor parks!) He likes to walk the path around the back yard, stomp through the grass, and play on the deck stairs. He's decided he's big enough to walk down the stairs frontways... neverminding that he is too short for such actions. Oh well. He wants to be big. :) And at least he always reaches for a hand to help him.
The other funny thing he did this week was walk in my shoes. I had just gotten home from the temple and took off my nice black shoes, and he stuck his little foot in one as far as it would go, then carefully clomped around. It was hilarious to see!
He's also developed block-building skills. He can get stacks up to 6 high before knocking them over, and he gets so intent when he builds. However, if I build a tower next to his, the old grin is back and my tower is history in a matter of seconds!
And that's life here with us... Steve and I got to have a date on Saturday. I made us a fancy dinner and we watched a movie after Adam went to bed. It wasn't a romantic comedy as claimed. Don't watch Suburban Girl unless you're a die-hard feminist who thinks men should be annihilated. I am so tired of all the feminists out there RUINING chick flicks!!!
And you'd think that all this time spent inside would result in a large amount of pictures, but it didn't. Sorry. :)

I can't wait to see pictures of his block towers. Blocks are so great! I like the inside parks idea...cabin fever is a real phenomenon! Hooray for the almost Spring weather!
