Aspen Grove and Yea for Milk!

The "yea for milk" is because this past week we started Adam on cow milk and he loves it and is doing great! May we never have to do formula again!!!
So Steve and I took our annual trip to Aspen Grove via the Student Married Retreat last weekend. It had tons (we're talking waist-high) of snow, lots of delicious food, and we invited our friends the Smiths and my brother and Brittany to come with us. We played games, went snowshoeing (a new activity this year) and of course, sledding. Adam enjoyed everything except not sleeping in his own bed-- we had 2 hours of screaming Saturday morning. However, the Smiths have a boy around Adam's age, so they had fun exploring together. We had a blast; it was so nice to get away!

Adam in his little snow pants and boots. He loved diving face-first into the snow.

Adam and his daddy the first night of sledding-- it was really cold!

Adam plays on the floor of the cabin's kitchen. He also learned how to safely go down the stairs, thanks to his uncle Michael.

We loved being up in those gorgeous mountains! Look at all the snow!
