The snow was just so pretty, Steve's parents were inspired to take some family pictures of us. And I'm so glad they did! Though it is hard to get a good picture of a baby who is cold and very tired of someone holding him, as we had just gotten back from church.
This one was taken inside... it's actually a very good picture, the best one of us in the bunch, so OF COURSE it had to be the one that cut off part of Steve... *sigh* I guess no picture can ever be perfect. :)I'm kicking myself today for not taking a movie of Adam... he had on the cutest little blue outfit and has become obsessed with walking around with this giant blue duster (it's as tall as him) and tapping it on things, and dusting things, and chewing on the handle. It's really funny to watch him walk around with that thing. Hopefully he'll do it tomorrow...
Also in the news today: Steve and I got to have a date last Saturday night. The Microsoft BYU Alumni chapter hosted a "Beauty and the Geek" style activity for CS majors and their dates. The winners got an Xbox and a Zune... we won two triple play tickets to Trafalga and a $20 gift card to the movies. It was really fun answering nerd questions (for the guys, beauty questions) and talking with adults. As much as I hate leaving Adam, even with one of his grandmothers, I was really grateful for the time to connect with Steve. He really is the most fun person I have ever met, and I am so lucky to be married to him!
And other than that, not much is going on. We're getting ready for Christmas (I can't wait for "Santa" to visit Adam!) and our trip to my brother's wedding. And Steve's finals. So good luck, Steve, we know you can do it! And to those of you with nothing to do who would like to research a bit of Christmas trivia, look up "Christmas" on wikipedia-- it reveals why using "Xmas" is NOT taking Christ out of Christmas! (That makes me feel better when people use xmas.)
Anyway, to quote a good book, Good People, and good night!

What great family pictures! I need to get some taken! Way to capture the beauty of Utah snow. Hooray for grandparents who are there to take pictures!
