Merry Christmas, all!!!

We slept in to the glorious hour of 9:30am, when I got up and reveled in my very first white Christmas. Isn't it beautiful?

Adam explored what Santa brought (some books, bath toys, and the Drop 'n' Roar Dinosaur) while Steve and I exchanged gifts. He got a shopping trip and a new wallet; I got a planner, chocolate, and an Intuition set. We also gave Adam several books and toys, including a play cell phone, on our trip to keep him occupied on the plane.

Adam plays with his new toys.

Adam claps for his new toys. If you say "Yea, Adam!" he'll start clapping. He even makes clapping sounds now, it's so cute.

We let Adam play for a while, then all got dressed and went to Steve's parents' house to exchange gifts. I called my mom and grandmother, wishing them Merry Christmas. Debbie and Travis came over with their daughter Arianna, and we talked with them for a bit. Then, as Steve and Adam were feeling crummy and I was still recovering, we rented 5 movies from Redbox and went home to hang out. We sat on the floor watching movies, and Adam looked at his new books beside us, between sessions of climbing all over us while we tickled him. It was so cute and cozy, just cuddling with my family under the soft glow of the Christmas tree. It's a memory I will treasure for a lifetime. And after all, that's what's really important at Christmas anyway: being together and giving the Savior the gift of love: to Him, to His Father, and to all our brothers and sisters on earth. I hope each of you were able to find moments like this to treasure this Christmas.

Now, start working on those New Year's resolutions! :)

You guys have an amazing view from your front porch. I love how the tree forms almost a snow cave around the front. Way cool!
