Books, Snow, and Balloons

There's that beautiful boy of mine. :)
Last night Steve brought me home an "I Love You" balloon (I know, he's the best!) and Adam thinks it is the greatest thing ever. He's been bopping it around all day, and wouldn't even let go to eat:

In other news, it snowed a TON today... judging by the buildup on our balcony I would say we got about 8 inches here, and who knows what in Provo. I heard that the skiers are very happy, it being all dry and powdery snow. Except in Orem it really is more mushy because it's a bit warmer down here.
And, as a final random note (I'm really tired right now) I just finished reading the most awesome book series ever, the Uglies series (thanks to Bonnie who let me borrow them). I did have a small problem with the ending of the trilogy. So I went to the author's website and he just finished a fourth book, but it's not really about the previous main character. So I plan to email him my plot idea for book 5 that would fix what happened in book 3. :) Or maybe I'll just write it myself-- it wouldn't be authentic, though, so it would still bother me. Anyway, if you get a chance to read the series, you should. They're intense, but pretty fast reading. I read them in about 24 hours, mainly because little Adam played by himself most of the day... and yes, I felt awful and I've tried to make it up to him since. He didn't mind, though, until it got to be evening. He;s usually pretty clingy at night.
And I was going to change the background color of my blog, but they don't have a nice enough navy blue. I'm not the biggest fan of gray, but my colors need to be dark so my scheme works. I'm just not ready to totally overhaul my blog yet. Maybe over the break...
And I think that's everything on my mind, so I am going to bed!
