Happy Halloween!!!

Sooo.... here's the jist of our creepy activities this week:

Sunday, while Steve was in L.A., Brittany and Michael came over and we carved pumpkins. They all turned out to look amazing!

Brittany's was Harry Potter. She found her design online. This was also her first pumpkin carved all by herself.

Michael's was the Oogey Boogey Man. He got his design from the pumpkin tool kit.

Mine was Sinister Bunny from the "Killer Bunnies" game (SUCH an awesome game!). I drew the pattern myself from the game's box.

Then, I spent the last night, morning, and afternoon making Adam's costume. With some "help" from him, of course. He liked to sneak over and push the pedal during crucial moments. Luckily my mom and grandmother came over to play with (aka distract) him. I can't believe I waited until the night before to start this stuff, and I REALLY can't believe I finished. But yea!, I did, and he and Steve looked so very cute as Calvin and Hobbes. I was either going to be Susie Derkins or the transmogrifier box, but as it turned out, I was The Crazed Lady Who Finished The Costumes.

Cute little Adam in his Hobbes costume. I just love the tail!

Steve as Calvin and Adam as Hobbes. We'll get some better pictures this weekend-- it was pretty late when we took these.

This picture is a bit dark, but still cute!

Anyway, so we took pictures and then had a party for my mom, whose birthday is Halloween. It was really fun, especially since my grandmother was here for the festivities.
So Happy Halloween to all, and wish me luck with submitting Adam to the Simplicity costume contest!
p.s.-- we just randomly got some weird teenager trick-or-treating at 11pm! What is it with people who are way too old for that doing it way too late?! It's really creepy.
p.p.s.-- and on the "Walking Front": Adam made some progress yesterday as he tried two different times to take a step all by himself. There's not much left stopping this child from getting into everything!
