... to me! :)
My husband planned the most fabulous birthday for me this year. On Friday, he got my mom to babysit and took me (we doubled with my bro and his fiancee) up to Salt Lake to the Off Broadway Theater. We saw "Henry Blotter and the Curse of Dracula" and the Laughing Stock show afterwards. It was a full night of laughter, and if you live in Utah, you have to go see the Henry Blotter show! (It's now through Halloween.)
My brother treated us to dinner at the Olive Garden, and then on Saturday, my actual birthday, my family came over and showered me with thoughtful gifts and a cake, plus the best BYU Creamery ice cream ever-- German Chocolate Crunch. We got pizza and had a fabulous party, followed by a game of Formula De (the latest gaming craze we're getting people hooked on, courtesy of our cousins in Washington). I got spoiled rotten and thoroughly enjoyed turning 21!
So that was my weekend... I'm kind of sad to go back to life as usual... except that I have the cutest, funniest son ever so life is never "usual," nor is it too difficult to return to!
And I actually did forget to bring my camera to SLC (of course) but did get some pics of us at my party at home. However, I was not wearing any makeup, so.... those will not get posted. :)
