YEA, we finally got to go to the Seattle Temple! We traded babysitting with the Deardeuffs and went for a session on the last day before it closed! It was most interesting... the only temple we've ever visited that had escalators instead of stairs. Quite fun, though. :)We took refuge in the next-door stake center on our shift. While babysitting the two kids, Steve discovered that Adam LOVES being walked around. His favorite is to walk towards someone, like me, who makes silly faces and encourages him as he walks. Steve walked him up and down the hall about ten times before he tried standing up... poor Steve. It's a good thing Adam makes the backache worthwhile!

Adam also discovered the joy of walking on the soft grass. A much better experience than walking on the beach!

We were really grateful that we got to visit the temple. It is so special to be at the temple, and to know that whenever you go, you can find peace and solace there.
