Well, we've had some fun things going on lately! First of all, Steve got to go white-water rafting with the Amazon interns yesterday. He not only had a blast, but he got a couple of missionary opportunities as well. We're very excited to follow up on them!
Then, this evening, we were invited by our friends, the Laylands, to a beach party. We roasted hot dogs, made s'mores, and had a great time talking and hanging out with friends. The weather was perfect, and we got to see a long, beautiful sunset.
Adam saw the waves and was leaning towards them pretty fiercely, but we weren't prepared to take him swimming. Instead, we let Adam take a few steps in the sand-- he didn't seem to like it much! (Or maybe he was just sad about his extra-full diaper.)
Finally, when we got Adam home, we of course had to give him a bath to get rid of the sand and smokey smell and everything. We put him in the tub and he discovered a new way to have fun: stomping! He was dancing away, stomping one foot, then the other, then one foot really hard, then the other a few times, and finally some stomps with both feet together! It was so cute to watch! We're glad he enjoys bath time so much. We'll see if it lasts. :)
