Not so artsy yet

Today I tried to do some art with Adam. The only coloring item I brought with me is a set of skinny markers. I put one in his hand and showed him how it made marks on the paper. He got a little too into it and wound up with marks on the table (oops) and nearly broke the end off of one. So I decided to let him play with the markers, caps on. He liked this idea. After a brief struggle to get the cap on his marker and a few stray marks on his cute little face, I showed him how to draw things while I held a different marker. He decided to swipe his marker under mine every time I tried to make a mark. Then, wielding his like a sword, he voraciously fended off my water bottle. If he happened to drop a marker, it didn't faze him. He'd watch it drop and then reach for a different one, carefully selecting one from the middle of the pile. Not a very artsy session, but darn hilarious!
He is now growling at the toys on his exersaucer while I clean up the table.
